VIDEO: Kevin Prince Boateng walks out of Friendly match Following Racist Chantssp
AC Milan midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng took an amazing stand against racism on Thursday after the Ghanaian was racially abused in a friendly match at minnows Pro Patria.
Midway through the first half at the fourth divisioners, as Boateng was on the ball near the touchline, the Milan number 10 lost complete interest in the game as he stopped playing, picked up the ball and whacked it at a hoard of Pro Patria fans sitting in the stands.
According to multiple Italian reports, the Pro Patria supporters were heard loudly racially abusing Boateng and Milan’s other black players throughout the match.
Incensed at the deplorable treatment he was being subjected to, Boateng ripped off his jersey and immediately stormed off the pitch.
Within a matter of seconds, Boateng was joined by his AC Milan teammates as well as the Pro Patria players, and the game was brought to a dramataic halt.
