INTRODUCTION
On the 17th of July 2012, all roads led to Emii an
autonomous community in Owerri North LGA
of Imo State which is about 15 kilometres from the capital city of
Owerri for the burial of late
Nze Samuel Ogbonna Muruako who passed on to eternity on the
27th of June 2012 at the age of 95.The corpse left Holy Rosary Mortuary and got
to his family compound at Ubaa Emii where it was lied in state for about an
hour before proceeding to Emmanuel Anglican Church Ubaa Emii for funeral
service.

RECEPTION OF THE BODY INTO THE CHURCH

"With faith in Jesus Christ,we receive the body of our brother, Samuel Ogbonna Muruako for burial . Let us pray with confidence to God,the giver of life,that He may make His perpetual light shine on his servant that he may be enabled to share the Life of His Saints, through Jesus Christ our Lord , Amen .

BIOGRAPHY OF LATE NZE SAMUEL OGBONNA MURUAKO -CHIDERE 1 OF UBAH EMII (1917-2012).
Nze Samuel Ogbonna Muruako was born in 1917 by Late Chief Jacob Osuji Muruako alias(papa CPL) and Late Esther Ugwuegbulam. During his childhood, he attended his Primary School at C.M.S Primary School Egbu.
After his Standard six examinations, he joined the Nigerian Army . He participated as an infantry Soldier in the Second World War in Buma and India. At the end of the war,he came back home and got married to Lolo Jemima Muruako(Nee Onyiriuka) in 1947. Their marriage was blessed with seven Children of which three are alife.
Nze Samuel worked with the then UAC in Portharcourt before he left for Sokoto where he joined the Public Work Department(P.W.D). He later came back to the eastern region and worked as a Clerical Officer with the Ministry of Works in Enugu,Portharcourt and Umuahia. After a successful working career,he retired in 1971 but not tired. Papa Sam later took up an appointment with M.C.C after his retirement. He was employed as an Accountant.
He had a vibrant social life and held many Leadership positions in the so many societies and clubs he found himself . He had great love in the education of his children and prayerfully brought them up in the fear of the Lord.
Nze and his late wife Jemima were decorated with the title of Ezinna and Ezinne respectively in the Anglican communion. His trustworthiness,straight-forwardness and honesty earned him the exalted Chieftancy title of "Chidera 1 of Emii Ofo Iri in Owerri North LGA of Imo State. He will be remembered for standing fearlessly for what he believed in. He was indeed a true legend . He is survived by Children, grand children,great grand children etc.
