Elder statesman and former Petroleum Minister, Alhaji
Shettima Ali Monguno has been kidnapped. The 87 year old politician was
kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Maiduguri, Borno State this afternoon as he made
his way home after leaving a local mosque where he went for prayers.
