Transgender pageant winner murdered in South Africa

A 23 year old South African man who won a Miss Gay pageant last year has been killed.

Thapelo Makutle (pictured above), known as Queen Bling, was found in his room with his throat slit last week Saturday. His friend told police that
Thapelo had argued with two heterosexual men the previous day about his sexuality,  the two men followed him home, broke down his door and killed him.

The late Makutle was active in the LGBT community in the Kuruman region, and his family and friends are angry that no one has been arrested for his murder despite the fact that the attackers description was given to police.

Killing someone because of their sexuality is the height of man's inhumanity to man. So sad!
