A 29-year-old photographer who was following Justin Bieber's white Ferrari which had been pulled over by police officers in Los Angeles was killed Tuesday evening as he was trying to snap photos of the singer's vehicle. The photographer was struck by another car as he was running back to his own vehicle after taking pictures of the star's car. Though it was reported that Bieber was not in the car when it happened.
Following news of the man's death, the 18-year-old singer
today released a statement.

tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim.
'Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful
legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety

photographers themselves.'
